The latest from Jeff The Brotherhood is "Hypnotic Nights" and it's on Warner Brothers. As the name would indicate - it's a couple of brothers - Jake and Jamin Orrall and their guitars doings a fuzzed out garage rock thing. They're the sons of Robert Ellis Orrall who used to record for RCA back when the sundowns were in black & white. The title tune - as well as several others - are total speeding ticket music but you won't care unless a red light materializes behind you. This is sort of like early Count Five meets Blue Cheer in the Kinks' garage. In 1965, they'd be like gods. And today? Fun party rock is always a good thing
