Palindrome Hunches

Neil Halstead may never get a day job. He was in Slowdrive and now Mojave 3 and this is his third solo album, "Palindrome Hunches" and it's on Jack Johnson's label, Brushfire. For just a guy and a guitar with a violin player and some mellow back-ups, Halstead does lots. He pretty much has the sad guy introspective man of mystery thing figured out as song hooks abound on these captivating classic folk tunes. No need to list the songs - it's all good if you're feeling in the mood for some rock lite.
