The prolific Ssion has a self-titled new one - and it's on Dovecote Records. It's techno pop out of the heartland - Kansas City - I'm guessing this dude - Cody Critcheloe - has moved elsewhere. His music doesn't move far from the typical disco/techno dance music. "High," a tune that will resonate with those that smoked their dinner, but the lyrics on this one as well as all the others are sparse and repetitive, so expect few term papers on the significance of the lyrics. Ssion plays OK dance music but put this one on at a biker party and you should be sure to have your dental insurance current.
