For what is believed to be the first time in Pacific View League
history, one of its schools is ranked No. 1 in boys' water polo.
Rio Mesa received enough votes this week to move into the No. 1 spot in Division VI.
Pacific View League schools have never had a team advance to a section final in either boys' or girls' water polo. The league was moved from Division IV to VI for the 2008-09 and 2009-10 school years.

AWESOME, RIO MESA HAS A FANTASTIC STAFF AND GREAT STUDENT BODY. WE ARE SO PROUD OF THE TEAM AND THE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, good for Rio Mesa. They never seem to get the credit they deserve. I have talked with students form their school, a lot of the students seem to be from the Camarillo area. Anyway, they have a lot of pride for their school, and they also seem to really like the staff.
Fantastic!! Rio is a really good school...staff and student body. I am happy for them.
It is so great to see Rio in the "Star"...this is definitely going to be their year in the pool!!!
