Alex Tiffin had 24 points as the Thousand Oaks High boys' basketball team earned the CIF-SS Division II-AA title with a 59-55 win over Leuzinger Saturday afternoon at the Honda Center in Anaheim.
The teams were tied, 53-53, with two minutes to play when Antonio Lopez's steal and breakaway layup and Chris Carter's two free throws gave a four-point lead.
The Olympians (25-6) has a chance to tie the score in the final seconds when Thousand Oaks came up with a steal.
Leuzinger's top scorer, senior Jerry Evans, fouled out with little more than three minutes to play. He finished with 12 points
