Pacific View League girls' basketball co-MVP Keiana Vines has transferred from Pacifica High to Santa Clara, where she joins cousin Dajyanah Vines.

Keiana Vines averaged 15.6 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.1 blocks for the PVL champion Pacifica Tritons last season.

The 6-foot-4 center becomes a welcome addition to an already strong Santa Clara team that won the 2009 Frontier League title and reached the Division V-A championship game. The Saints were 25-5 last season.
