9 area volleyball teams ranked

Nine area girls' volleyball teams made the CIF-Southern Section preseason rankings.

Division II-A is loaded with six area teams. La Reina, which reached the 2008 semifinals, is No. 2 in Division II-A. Also ranked are: 3. Oxnard, 6. Oaks Christian, 7. Oak Park, 9. Camarillo, and 10. St. Bonaventure.

Nordhoff and Villanova are No. 5 and No. 6, respectively, in Division IV-A.

Hillcrest Christian/Thousand Oaks is the No. 2-ranked Division V-A team.
