The tryouts are over. The scrimmages are done. Today marks the first full slate of fall sports in the area.

There are 9 tennis matches, 9 volleyball matches and 6 golf matches scheduled (and likely a few more the coaches forgot to tell us about).

Looking ahead a bit, the Seaside Invitational will be run on Friday for area cross country teams and the Conejo Classic will take place on Friday and Saturday in boys' water polo. It's a good chance to get an early look at some of the talent across the county.
