Westlake High's Nelson Spruce had one of the best receiving days in state history.
Spruce caught five passes for a school record 233 yards and 4 TDs in Westlake's 48-26 win over Paso Robles last Friday.
He had TD receptions of 94, 19, 74 and 32 yards. His shortest gain was 14 yards.
Spruce averaged 46.6 yards yards per catch, which ranks as one of the best in state history for five or more receptions in a game.
