The Newbury Park High football program has reached a milestone.

The 35-14 win over Royal last Friday was the 250th in Newbury Park's history.

Newbury Park's overall record is 250-195-8.

Over half of the victories came during the 19-year career of former coach George Hurley. Hurley's teams were 130-81-2. Newbury Park won a section title in 1993 and was a runner-up in 1995.
