Oak Park High senior Melissa Skiba has made a verbal commitment with UCLA.
Skiba has three major section titles to her credit: 2008 Division III girls' cross country, 2009 Division III 3,200, 2009 Masters Meet 3,200.
She was runner-up at the Division III state cross country meet the last two years and was sixth at the state track 3,200 last spring.
Her personal bests are 5:00.65 for the 1,600 and 10:31.26 for the 3,200.
