Derrick Raines' 11-yard touchdown pass with 29 seconds left pulled Buena within two points. However, the pass failed on the two-point conversion attempt to tie the game. Earlier in the fourth quarter, Oxnard's Terrell Watson scored on a 5-yard run.
Moorpark 37, Agoura 7
Tyler Peterson ran for two touchdowns and Cheldon West had two touchdown receptions for Moorpark. Grant Rohach threw for three touchdowns.
St. Bonaventure 54, Simi Valley 0
St. Bonaventure's defense and special teams scored three times and quarterback Marc Evans was 12-of-18 passing for 140 yards and two touchdowns in a 54-0 dismantling of host Simi Valley on Friday night.

The teams combined for 23 penalties and San Marcos held on for its first win of the year, 35-21, after building a four-touchdown lead in the first half.

With Thousand Oaks backed into a must-win game and missing its starting quarterback to boot, Jackson Lucht delivered Friday night. The Lancers' backup quarterback completed his first eight pass attempts, finished 17 of 23 for 145 yards and three touchdowns.
