Things To Think About on Tuesday

Just have a couple articles to link to.

First, there's been all this talk about releasing the prisoners from Guantanamo Bay, well what about all the prisoners held at Bagrams Air Base. The prison is located at the American base in Aghanistan. There are reported to be about 600 prisoners there who if released, will almost immediately return to fighting. So what do we do about them?

And LA Time's op-ed discusses a new way to handle the state budget. The article talks about a hard cap spending budget. It was introduced by Republicans but has been gaining little traction in the Democrat controlled legislature.

Oh, wonderful Cuba. With the sandy beaches, warm tropical breezes, sunshine, a mix of cultures, races and lifestyles. This sparkling mirage in the Caribbean Sea, the largest island in the West Indies, almost off the coast of the Florida Keys and soon; which; all, to be covered with water as a result of Global Warming. Cuba, also has the quaint little town of Moron in east-central Cuba, known for transportation and manufacturing. Also, Moron should be made available for "The One", whose abilities now allow him to release all the prisoners now at Gitmo!

I'm a day late and a dollar short on seeing this article, Dan. But anyway, better late than never.

Close Gitmo if that's what is popular nowadays. However, corral those punks that we have in there and detain them one-by-one in maximum-security prisons in utter secrecy of their being there, being separated from each other after trial, until time immemorial for their crimes. If their crimes equate to death, then that's their "reward"...think martyrdom.
