Here Comes The Money There Go The Troops

So Tuesday was quite the day for our new President. Two big items were on his agenda.

In the morning he signed into law the stimulus package authorizing $789 billion dollars to spent in hopes of reviving the economy. Besides the fact that only 3 Republicans in all of Congress voted Yes on the matter, and the other fact that no one really knows what it all entails, it seems like a sure fire plan.

President Obama also ordered17,000 troops to be deployed to Afghanistan. The President sees the country as quickly destabilizing. Additional troops are necessary to save Afghanistan.

Sure...another President, "same old s***, different day". Sorry for the metaphor.

This stimulus plan will absolutely do nothing to or for American citizens, except to exact some temporary positions for infrastructure repairs and reconstructive programs thrown into the bread dough like raisins for flavor.

I saw on CNN that now the auto corporations need MORE money, and there were "the Big Three" begging for it; promising to get rid of their not-so-well-selling vehicles. The reason they are not selling well is because people cannot afford them, that's all! Oh, there is one Chrysler model that looks like a 1946 panel truck with a nice paint job that I would never buy. The Cadillacs look exactly like my (nearly still-new) 1996 Cadillac Sedan de Ville with only 9,000 miles on it, (in storage in Houston, Texas), except for a new up-scaled plastic front-end and tail lights. Cannot say much for Ford...their cars look the same too, year after year, after year.

People simply are not BUYING! That's the deal! just cutback on manufacturing and lay-off the automakers who were making over $76 dollars an hour, and their unions can also handle their unemployment once their large savings are depleted and their unemployment benefits are gone and their food debit cards are expended. The problem is hitting not only the auto industry but every industry. Why do these auto corporations' top exec's cry and whine so much? It's their own result of their own mismanagement! Along with many other large corporations' downfalls.

The One is only doing what comes naturally, folks. You know, this "war" thing is way out of control. Dan mentioned "saving" Afghanistan. The One simply wants to flex his public muscles for his public image, to send more troops into Afghanistan to get rid of whom? Taliban? Al Qaeda? These guys and more insurgent organizations are all over the world, for God Sakes! This is just a tempest in a teapot, if you ask that opinion of me. But the risk are to the US; the entire country thereof; and to the troops who are deployed to that region to fight more for some causes that will NEVER go away, as long as the world is being ruled under the systems it incorporates now, and has been in the past. Ironic, that the large and heavy dollar amounts the "stimulus packages" have incorporated, as payoffs, and the purpose it holds, then again the ongoing, continuous "war" effort are hypocritical to each other, is seems, to an economist like my wife. If she can figure this out, anyone can. Obama cannot see this?

The One really is being TOLD what to do, and with his entire and complete lack of knowledge of military strategics and tactics, (to name only one aspect of his lack of experience and knowledge) as he was never a part of the military in the first place, what is he to know what to do?

Stabilizing Afghanistan is destabilizing the US. Wait...more to come from Club DC on this one. Watch The One's failure coming. We knew this before he began.
