Will Roland Burris Resign?

Throughout this week Senator Roland Burris started talking, and he kept talking when he should have stopped talked.

First, he admitted that he spoke with Robert Blagojevich about appointment to the Senate seat and fundraising. He is the brother of ex-Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. During Burris's testimony in the impeachment trial, he said that he had not spoken to anyone besides Rod Blagojevich. So now Sen. Burris did speak to other people about possibly raising money.

Then Senator Burris really messed up. Burris stated that he did try to raise money for ex-Governor Blagojevich. OUCH! Now he gone completely against his testimony and therefor perjured himself. Not a good way to start off your term.

Now the Chicago Tribune is calling for his resignation and so am I.

Typical Chicago, Illinois characteristic; talking! Another characteristic...lying!

Burris definitely has something to hide. His verbal quality, body language, and eye method all lead to a person who is hiding something and not telling the truth. I never did care much for Burris, when he approached the international and US national scene when Governor Bag appointed him. I checked his background information and found some not-so-nice affiliations.

Yes, Dan, perjury is totally against the law, especially on a federal level. Burris will not receive much support, not much interest on the part of the US Senate members. Burris will be a "burr" under the Senate's saddle. (pun intended).

I personally feel that Burris, given the information I hold, is intertwined with Governor Bag and his Chicago cronies; the same bunch of guys that The One knows. Hmmmm.

In comes Jesse Jackson, Jr., and his "informing" ways with the Illinois criminal and crime division and also the FBI. Was Jesse Junior in any way also affiliated...working both sides at once...you know, folks; a double-agent thing? Who knows. Seems Jackson has some ax to grind and somewhere "up" to go, also. Watch his career path closely.

Back to Burris, yes, he should go, Dan. The US Senate has enough to deal with rather than to be voting on and concerning themselves with another dirty Illinois political lamer.
