I have become mad obsessed over UPN's "Veronica Mars" The ironic part of it was last year, I never really paid that much attention to watching it because of the hours I keep at the office at night I only recently got TiVo but have yet to figure out how to work it and we won't even discuss how my VCR decided to die the first time I started trying to tape the episodes and have yet to replace the VCR. I had made the decision to just forgo trying to figure out how to watch the show on TV and just wait for the DVDs. The day the first season was released, I was at my neighborhood Target picking up my very own copy--that's how eager I was to see this show in all its glory. I had been hearing from critics and fellow reporters in the entertainment industry just how good this show was and how it was being overlooked by the general public. Even "Buffy's" Joss Whedon posted his love for the show

The Television Critics Association is in full swing for the next few days. CBS presented their new shows on Tuesday and promised an enlightening miniseries on Pope John Paul II. For those "Joan of Arcadia" fans, CBS president Nina Tassler is sad to see the show go but said there will likely not be any follow-up movie to tie up the loose ends of the show. It's too bad that the fans of this series will not get any closure.

For those Clay Aiken fans who were paying attention to this blog last week, here is the article that was done on Clay's visit to Camarillo.
Rumor has it that singer Clay Aiken made a visit to Ventura County Monday afternoon to help hand deliver a special package from Amazon.com. The singer is just one of many celebrity talent who are taking part in Amazon.com's celebration of the company's ten-year anniversary. Although the exact location of the delivery has not been made public yet, word has it that Aiken also spent some time at the UPS store in Camarillo.
I'm an "American Idol" fanatic. I began watching the show back when it first began and has sat through four crownings of new Idols. Although there has many Idol contestants who have gone on to make names for themselves over the last few years, here's the skinny on what some of them are up to lately.
Clay Aiken: The guy who would finish as runner-up to Ruben Studdard in 2003. He will begin a summer tour through the Midwest and East Coast in July and will be on the road until September. It's being billed as the Jukebox Tour. Expect lots of covers and footage (or Clack as the fans call it) of the concerts to be posted immediately following every show. In other news, his fans are cheering at the news that not only did his official fan club launch earlier this week (surely sending many of them into *thud* mode) but now comes the news that Clay is working with a producer that has worked with the likes of Josh Groban and Michael Buble. Fan chatter on the various message boards feel all signs point to David Foster.
According to the Shelby County Reporter, fourth season runner-up Bo Bice was there in town on June 15 to register for a marriage license with his girlfriend Caroline. The couple has been dating for a few years now.
That other long-haired rocker from this past season of the show, Constantine Maroulis, who finished 6th on the show, isn't fading from the limelight anytime soon. He will be singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" on a Queen tribute album coming out in a few months, has a television deal that is rumored to be with Gramnet Productions and his band Pray for the Soul of Betty performed Tuesday night at the Key Club in Los Angeles. In addition, much speculation has started to creep onto the various message boards for Constantine about who he's been stepping out with lately. An ex of Leonardo DiCaprio, Kristen Zang, supposely has tickled his fancy and is rumored to be the girl he has mentioned in various radio interviews as of late.
And I know you've all been eagerly awaiting the release of American Idol reject William Hung's new CD "Miracles: Happy Summer" Hung is teaming up with Billy Ray Cyrus for the video to his new single "Achy Breaky Heart."
