By virtue of its Citrus Cup victory over Ventura, Moorpark (9-3) earned the division's automatic berth into the eight-team Southern California regional playoffs, where it eliminated defending state champion El Camino in overtime 42-41 before falling to eventual SoCal champion Mount San Antonio College, 59-35.
