Turmoil at the top

The Mount San Antonio and College of the Canyons football teams, atop the state and regional football polls, had an interesting weekend.

The No. 1-ranked Mounties fell 44-38 in triple overtime at Cerritos College, while No. 2 Canyons needed overtime to survive Pasadena City, 42-41, and clinch the Northern Conference.
