Jim Dantona ( Supervisor: Dantona VS Foy) is back on the campaign trail this week raising funds for his November contest. If you want details click on continue reading.

Any word on what Peter Foy has been up to? Is he campaigning over the summer? If not, does he run the risk of voters forgetting who he is? I think they'd remember his name and if they voted for him, but the longer that goes by without him engaging the voters, his issues fade. Thoughts on my analysis are welcome.

Why should Peter Foy tell anyone his campaign plans?

If any of my readers are planning to be there feel free to send me some pictures.

Peter Foy will bury Jim Dantona under a pile of mail unless Dantona can raise some serious money.

Hey Smoy,
Correct me if I'm wrong but Foy signed 159 Thousand dollar cap as did Dantona. If I'm right
that means Foy is fined if he spends more than 159. Also if I'm right Dantona raised 150+ in the Primary so I wouldn't be celebrating yet.

Dantona spent everything he had including personal loans to get his 33% in the primary. Still, Foy beat Dantona by 6 points in June, and ALL of Judy Mikels' votes are going to Foy. Republicans outnumber Democrats by 20 points in this town, and Dantona has so much baggage he should invest in Gucci stock. This one's a landslide, Donna, get used to it.

I agree with Michael, this one is already over. Dantona spent so much time smearing Mikels that he forgot to explain to voters why they should actually vote for him instead of against Judy. Those who stuck by Judy Mikels won't easily forget that ugly primary and Foy will get 99% of Mikels votes. Foy will win this one easily. All Foy needs to do is keep his mouth shut and give generic responses on the issues and he should be home free.

Bubba - it seems to me I read a similar blog posting a few weeks ago saying that "Judy Mikels will be gainfully employed after June 6th." That is not the case and neither is your landslide scenario. Foy is an unknown quantity - when the voters know him, they will reconsider.

The host committee looks like a who's who of county and LA Democrat politics, not exactly a winning combo for the 4th District, with a sprinkling of Judy haters thrown in. However, the word is that 75 percent of Dantona's Republican backers are getting out.

I thought the Galpin group was big time Republicans. They frequently host meetings for Republicans.
