This is lengthy, but very
important and time sensitive:

As most of you know I plan on opening an large
activist center in downtown Ventura. This is a
huge
endeavor but one that is wanted and needed by our
activist circles and our community at large.

I need to re-start the process of forming a
non-profit.
While working through the steps it will take to
do
that, I need to open a small mini-center /
office.

I had planned on doing just that in Ventura.
However,
as happens in life - things change!. I have
temporarily re-located to Port Hueneme which is
where
my day job is. It just so happens that an office
in
the same building where I work has opened up.

It is exactly the size I was envisioning -- about
800
square feet. It is much less expensive than
Ventura;
its less than $1 a foot. The rent is $650 a
month.
It has a nice large open area, an enclosed
private
area, restroom facilities, great ambient light,
and is
easy to find.

What I need is seed money to get into the place
and
set up shop. I am not asking for "donations"
(though I
would not turn that down!). Here is what I can
offer:

1) part or parts of the space rented to you on an
"as
needed" basis for meetings, fundraising, film
viewings, hollistic healing, art shows, you name
it.....

2) my services to you and/or your organization to
assist in projects, organizing events,
fundraising,
research, you name it...

The idea here in general is to open a
"mini-activist
center" and set-up a cooperative with fellow
activists
while I form a non-profit to open a big center in
Ventura.

I cannot afford to do this alone and it is being
shown
to other people, so time is of the essence.

So, if you or someone you know, is in need of
very
inexpensive space to do whatever it is you do, or
show
your art/wares - we can work out an hourly,
weekly, or
monthly deal.

If you are need of my services - I'm for hire!.
You
all know the level of knowledge and experience I
have
in event planning, research, fundraising, etc...
Plus, I'm great on the phones and can type 70+
WPM.

Also, I plan to have a mini-library, documentary
collection, classes, and all kinds of activist
tools
for our use.

I need $650 to get in the door. Thats it!
