Liberals set to drink

( One version of the history of St. Patrick's Day)

There is a petition to turn St. Patrick's Day into a Federal Holiday. Would you sign it?

Locally, Drinking Liberally, a group of young progressives has scheduled their next meeting. What are the local news stories they should discuss?

Click on continue reading for details.

Hi Liberal Drinkers --

We are in the process of getting back on
track with our regular bi-monthly meetings. We will
be meeting next Wednesday, the 26th of March at
our normal stomping grounds of J.J. Brewskys!

Hope to see you all there!

Mark R. Eggertsen.

They need to drink with the two doozies they have as candidates for President.

Most likely, we're going to spend a lot of time discussing Jill Martinez and Mary Pallatn's run for the 24th Congressional district against chronic incumbent Elton Galleghly. Of course, we will be covering more national events as well.

We seem to be attracting a larger crowd than usual this time around, so everyone is welcome to come. We will be meeting at J.J. Brewsky's. E-mail for directions. Here's the address and time:

7:00 PM, Wednesday, the 26th
J.J. Brewskys
2433 Ventura Blvd
Camarillo, CA 93010
(805) 482-5249

Hoping as always to see new faces!

Mark,

Which candidate has done the most to reach out to young people as far as you have experienced?

Do you see either of them having a decent chance this time around? Would you support the candidate with the strongest chance or the one you agree with the most?
