State Assembly District 37 Democratic Primary

( Ferial Masry on youtube)

Democrats,

What are your initial reactions to the two different candidates?

1. David Hare

2. Ferial Masry
( Thanks for the link on your page!)

I told you this entry was for Democrats!

I support Barack Obama.

I love Ferial. She's wonderfully bright, committed and has a true passion for what she does. She's so much fun to talk to. I sat next to her at the last NWPC dinner and left wishing I could vote for her. (I'm in Pedro Nava's district, which makes me very happy, too.)

This county has a lot of talent this season coming from the Democratic Party. All three female Congressional candidates are amazing, too!

Marie,

What do you find amazing about each of the three Democratic candidates running for the nomination in this district?

All three have incredible spirit and drive in the face of a primary competition and then a tough competitor in the general. I admire them all for doing what they believe in.

This is really a good year for female candidates.

Ferial Masry is an intelligent, honest, ethical, fighter. Those are the things I look for in a candidate and she possess all of those qualities.

I like Ferial's determination! She got 42.95% of the vote when she ran for this seat in 2006; up from 41.1% when she ran in 2004.

Maybe she can inch a little bit closer to a victory this year.

I met David Hare at an event recently and was really impressed with him. I voted for Ferial before because she was the only name on the ballot, but I'm voting for David Hare in June. He's a much candidate for this district.

Ferial Masry can WIN this time! She is knowledgable about the local issues of education, healthcare, infrastructure and knows how to get it done. She has helped turn the 37th from Red to Blue by her passionate persistent efforts locally and statewide! Keep up the good work, Ferial!

Renee:
What has happened to make Masry's campaign look more hopeful in this third attempt? Has she raised much more money? Is she doing something different this time than she did the last two times she ran? Does she have name identification with some new issue that is a "hot button" for voters? Why would much needed DTS voters decide for her in November?

Voting for Hare:
For that matter, what do you believe Hare Hare bring to the campaign that will mean he can win?

Please pardon my typos, but the "preview" button did not work this time.
