Republican Candidate for State Senate,Tony Strickland, has updated his campaign's website.
You can hear his radio ad which seems to tout his support for Governor Schwarzenegger's Health care proposal and his Environmental policies.
If Tony is saying he is a Schwarzenegger Republican instead of a Norquist Republican that marks a welcome shift for him. I will look forward to him speaking about global warming and supporting the governor suing President Bush's administration over his EPA overruling our environmental laws.
How will Hannah Beth Jackson counter his latest green positions? Maybe supporting a local oil refinery in Santa Barbara?
If anyone wants to photoshop Al Gore ( An Inconvenient Truth), Michael Moore ( Sicko) and Tony Strickland ( Maybe in the middle of the other two?) all together send it in.

Listen to his radio ad and tell me if he supports the governor's health care proposal.
That web site hasn't been updated in awhile, Brian. Still no endorsements and still no issues except for that radio ad which I heard many months ago. I wonder what they're waiting for?
But I did hear Hannah-Beth did exceptionally well in the Q&A event with Strickland on Friday which was sponsored by the Camarillo Chamber.
Marie,
I thought it was new stuff. Sorry if I was wrong.
Let me know when Hannah Beth Jackson updates her website next.
Reminds me of an old African retelling of the Flood.
"Long ago, two hyenas laughed at all the other animals for boarding Noah's ark, ridiculing them for believing in the silly notion of the approaching flood and for helping a man build a giant boat. Then the rains came. Soon, after all the other animals had boarded the ark, where there was warm shelter and food, the hyenas found themselves hungry, wet and cold, huddled on a shrinking hill top as the waters rose. But before they could drown the ark floated near enough so that the two hyenas could climb up the ropes to safety, where they announced to everyone that they had believed in the coming flood all along. Once aboard, the hyenas quietly pushed a pair of birds overboard and took their place on the crowded ark. These were the last of the North Star birds, whose job it was to guide Noah's ark and its passengers safely into the Future.
To this day the lazy hyena grows fat at the expense of others and continues to guide travelers in the wrong direction."
Strickland has his endorsements up. If my count is right, he has 50 to HBJ's 37.

My goodness, Republicans really can't count. Or else they can't navigate web sites very well. (Click on ALL the tabs under the endorsements listing on the web site, OK? They are categorized by area.) She has 114 listed and five new ones which aren't up yet.
But I'm glad Strickland finally posted his. Now, when will they post issues?
I saw Hannah-Beth at the Simi Valley Street Fair and boy can she move in a crowd. She walks at the pace of a teenager, stops and pets every dog, shakes every hand, plays with every baby and can discuss any issue raised with an incredible level of professionalism. She is indeed a highly qualified individual with a whole bunch of energy. Best of all, she seemed to understand the issues important to our community; public education, police and fire protection, jobs, transportation, the environment and the local dump expansion.
8-12,
You seem to know Hanna Beth Jackson pretty well. Why don't you ask her to post something on Brian Dennert's blog?
Hardly know her. I'm sure Brian will ask her for a post. I have read the sixty bills she authored while in the Assembly. Perhaps some of her legislative history will be a start for discussion on the blog. What would you like to see posted, Nobody?
