With all of yall comin out here online, I thought I might as well join the flock and proclaim my blind faith in front of my gods. Both Odin and Kahuna.

"Odin is a god of war and death, but also the god of poetry and wisdom. He hung for nine days, pierced by his own spear, on the world tree. Here he learned nine powerful songs, and eighteen runes. Odin can make the dead speak to question the wisest amongst them. His hall in Asgard is Valaskjalf ("shelf of the slain") where his throne Hlidskjalf is located. From this throne he observes all that happens in the nine worlds. The tidings are brought to him by his two raven Huginn and Muninn. He also resides in Valhalla, where the slain warriors are taken."

And my spiritual path leader on earth: The Big Kahuna.

"Kahuna was the Hawaiian title for a priest, expert, teacher, and/or adviser, and the term is still used in that context by native Hawaiians. (See ancient Hawai'i) A kahuna nui was a high priest."

Although I was born in California, I consider it to be the closest state (in body and soul) to the state of Hawaii. It was said, many Californians sailed on palm rafts to Hawaii without compass or knowledge of stars. They went on feelings, emotion and heart. This was way before Gidget.

We do call ourselves the "Church of Latter Day Surf". A humble beginning in the state of Oregon, back in the seventies, by a lonely surfer named Baron. He discovered and passed the knowledge of the inevitable tectonic plate movement on the west coast that will produce the largest wave in Earth's history. We urge you all to have a surfboard ready and those that comply, will surely inherit the new Surf City; probably located on future oceanfront property in either Nevada, Utah or Arizona. Believe in the wave. Have that board ready to ride for only those with boards will survive.
