Oxnard Union High School officials are trying a unique approach to dealing with migrant families. Today, school administrators, counselors and teachers are spending the day with migrant families, working alongside them, in a "Day in the Fields" program. The goal, school officials say, is to open a dialogue with the families to help improve their children's education opportunities.
