James Lee, an Oxnard photojournalist, is in Afghanistan reporting for the next several months about what he sees and experiences in some of the small villages in that country as the U.S. mounts its military surge.
The Star is hosting a blog of James' photos. He posted three new photos today, with a couple of visually stunning images of Afghan children and information on their plight in the war-torn country.
