The student government at Ventura College is taking $20,000 it had budget for a campus event and plowing it back into the classroom to fund four summer school classes.

We'll look at a new partnership for a conservancy science program in the Santa Monica Mountains between the National Park Service and UCLA.

In a merger made at the dip bowl, we'll report on Calavo's (the avocado giant) plans to acquire a salsa company from Minnesota.

And we'll be taking a look at the Oxnard College culinary arts program which is already full booked for its spring seating at the weekly restaurant.
