Here are some of the stories we are working on today:

We will continue to follow on Monday's train-truck collision that killed a Ventura man. If you have any questions about the accident that you would like to see us pursue, drop me a note at jmoore@vcstar.com

We'll be at the county supervisors' meeting this morning when local nurses are expected to attend en masse to protest pay and respect issues they see at county health facilities.

Outside of Ventura County, we'll be following the online-only announcement today of Attorney General Jerry Brown as a Democratic candidate for governor of California; we'll be watching the goings on in the U.S. Senate as a lone Republican senator holds up health care and unemployment funding; and we'll have coverage of the arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court over a key 2nd Amendment case.
